My husband and I are taking (2) 9×13 funeral potatoes for Thanksgiving to his sister’s home where most of the family is gathering. One is never enough! They always want the left-overs and eat them for breakfast also.
They all look delicious but I will be having traditional mashed potatoes and gravy for Thanksgiving this year. I may also have the sweet potato casserole, I think it would be a nice switch from our regular kind!

Have made similar potatoes in past, these were just great. I use a hand held mixer to blend the cooked potatoes.
Love funeral potatoes and it makes a good change from traditional mashed for the holidays.
