Graduation Cap Toppers and Flags

Alrighty, friends…

I have a few more graduation and teacher gifts I will be sharing with you over the next few days.

This next idea is nothing new but wanted to do my version of it for my brother-in-law’s graduation party last week. I had seen Chocolate versions of these Graduation Cap Toppers, but not a white chocolate version {which is my FAV!!}. Here is how mine turned out:

I’m not gonna lie. They were pretty darn good and SO easy to do. {Can you tell I LOVE easy?!}

Here is what you need to make them as well:Continue Reading

Lunch Note Eggs

As you can tell from this week’s posts, we’ve had a TON of hard-boiled eggs around the house!

Well, funny thing is, the hubby and I LOVE hard-boiled eggs but haven’t had them for years. Just this week we were reminded how much we like them and that we should make them more often. My hubby went on to say that they were one of his favorite things to eat as a kid, and it made me think “Hmmm… will make some to put in his lunch for work.” And then I got an even better idea!

TODAY: LUNCH NOTE EGGS

That’s right! I thought I would send him with some messages on his eggs. Awhile back I started writing notes to him on his bananas and thought this would change things up. :)

I LOVE how they turned out. You can make these for your spouse, for your kids, or for whoever! It’s just a nice little way to send your loved ones a message during the day without using an electronic device – lol!

Like some of the other decorated eggs I did this week, they’re simple!

Dr. Seuss Diaper Cake

It’s Dr. Seuss’s Birthday today!!

I am a HUGE Dr. Seuss fan and am so thrilled to share with you this amazing Dr Seuss Diaper Cake today.

My cousin and aunt made it for me for my son’s baby shower 2.5 years ago. I had decided on a Dr. Seuss Nursery theme so my cousin and aunt made this diaper cake (my fam LOVES diaper cakes – you can see more HERE and HERE) for my shower knowing I would want to also display it in the nursery. We’ve moved since then and have changed my son’s room to a Monster theme, but I haven’t been able to get rid of this cake because it is so stinkin’ adorable. See for yourself….

They pretty much made the entire cake using chip board, scrapbook paper, mod podge, crepe paper and hot glue.Continue Reading
