You guys know how much I love cookies… and especially easy cookies.
You guys probably also know that I do lot of versions of the Gooey Butter Cookies I posted about a few years back. Today is no different. Last week I shared a new version for Gooey Hot Cocoa Cookies. Today, I’m sharing one for Gooey Red Velvet Cookies. If you’re a fan of Red Velvet then you will love these cookies. They are simple (the kiddos helped with them) and of course, were delicious!
We all know that Red Velvet anything is the best with cream cheese, so that’s why I added some cream cheese frosting. For simplicity’s sake I used a can for these ones, but if you’re looking for a great homemade Cream Cheese Frosting go HERE.
Here’s the Gooey Red Velvet Cookies recipe:
- 1 Red Velvet Cake Box Mix
- ½ cup butter
- ½ tsp. vanilla
- 1 8 oz. Cream Cheese bar
- 1 egg
- powdered sugar
- Cream Cheese Frosting
- Beat butter, vanilla, egg and cream cheese until fluffy.
- Mix in cake mix.
- Chill for 30 minutes.
- Roll into balls and dip in a bowl of powdered sugar.
- Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes, and sift powdered sugar on top if desired.
Like I said… if you’e looking for an easy and delicious cookie recipe to try this holiday season, these are the guys!!
