How Can I Turn a Regular Dessert Into a Halloween One?
Colors. Black, brown, orange, purple, bright green, and pink are all great Halloween choices.
Embellishments. Add Halloween sprinkles and festive candies (for added fun and flavor). Halloween toppers, like plastic spiders, are also great additions. Top any treat with candy eyeballs, or your favorite Halloween candy like gummy worms, for an instant transformation.
Serving trays. Use spooky and fun Halloween-themed serving trays to enhance the overall feel. Decorate the serving table with Jack-o-lanterns, ghouls, goblins, or spooky skeletons for pops of Halloween fun!
How Many Desserts Should I Prepare?
No matter how many options are available, plan for party guests to have 2 total servings of dessert.
Make Ahead of Time?
Most of these treats can be made at least a day ahead of time, while others can be made even further in advance. See the individual posts for storage info.

This collection of Halloween dessert recipes is my go-to for all Halloween-themed treat ideas! My favorites are the Monster Cookies, the Strawberry Ghosts and the Witch Hat Cookies. All three of these recipes are so easy to make and they are a hit when I bring them to our neighborhood Halloween night block party. The kids love them!
Made the graveyard dirt cake for a block party. I I divided it into individual cups and put a cookie headstone in each cup. Also, I added R.I.P. to each cookie to make it a little more clear as to what they were. I didn’t have any leftover.
