We all know that Thanksgiving is wonderful, but often stressful. Here are some tips to make your feast more stress-free.
- STORAGE: Clean out the fridge the week before to make room for Thanksgiving food.
- SHOPPING: Don’t wait until the last minute. Stores get crowded and ingredients run out. There are also many things you can buy ahead of time that you can freeze like:
- Meats (turkey, ham etc.)
- Hash browns (for potato casseroles like Funeral Potatoes and Cheesy Potatoes)
- Frozen Veggies for sides (like Creamed Corn)
- Cheeses – Shredded and blocks
- Dessert ingredients (and desserts like pies and tarts)
- Juice concentrates (for drinks)
- Canned Goods
- Crackers and Chips
- SERVE: Adding fresh herbs or fruits like cranberries and oranges to your platters and tables makes it extra beautiful!
