Hello Lil Luna readers! I’m Melissa from over at Bless this Mess and I’m here to share a simple recipe that is perfect for summer.
There’s nothing better for summer snacking than popsicles. I’m a big believer in keeping things simple and simple is just what these popsicles are. You can’t get any easier than a little fruit and some juice. But not only are they easy, they are also so good for you. With no added sugar (just the natural sugar in fruit) and a little bit of fiber that comes from using whole fruit you really have yourself a treat you can feel good about eating all summer long. I always have homemade popsicles in the fridge and when the kids are begging for them at 9am I have no guilt about saying yes. Real food for the win!
Whether you are sitting by the pool, catching up on your summer reading in the shade, or pulling weeds from the garden, these popsicles are sure to hit the spot. Enjoy!
- 2 sliced peaches (skin removed) or one small can of sliced peaches in their own juice (not canned in a syrup)
- 100% white grape juice
- Drop 3 or 4 slices of peach in each popsicle mold, pour the juice in until the fill line, add the stick and freeze until solid. You really can't get any easier than that can you?! Run the popsicle mold under a little bit of warm water to get the popsicles out. Enjoy!
Things have been hopping on my own blog since I was last here.
Thanks for having me and have a great day!
