  • STORAGE: Clean out the fridge the week before to make room for Thanksgiving food.
  • SHOPPING: Don’t wait until the last minute. Stores get crowded and ingredients run out. There are also many things you can buy ahead of time that you can freeze like:
    • Meats (turkey, ham etc.)
    • Hash browns (for potato casseroles like Funeral Potatoes and Cheesy Potatoes)
    • Frozen Veggies for sides (like Creamed Corn)
    • Cheeses – Shredded and blocks
    • Dessert ingredients (and desserts like pies and tarts)
    • Juice concentrates (for drinks)
    • Canned Goods
    • Crackers and Chips
  • SERVE: Adding fresh herbs or fruits like cranberries and oranges to your platters and tables makes it extra beautiful!
